The contact

Do you need something translated quickly?

Contact us by phone or e-mail to set the project details. The texts destined for translation, proofreading, or typing may be transferred by fax, e-mail, courier, or Lexigo courier.

Analysis

We will then set a deadline together for the delivery of the project, according to the following steps:

  • Analysis of the workload

  • Analysis of text terminology

  • Analysis of whether the text requires post-editing or not.

In this stage, we will take into account the number of translators needed, the proofreaders, project managers, the existence of a term base, the need to use a translation tools (CAT tool), the existence of special text editing formats.

The quotation

An estimated project cost is then offered. The final price will be calculated only when the project is completed, based on the texts resulted from the translation process. Consistently, this price shall not differ greatly from the initial estimate.

Translation

After the order is confirmed, we will proceed with the translation. Depending on the workload and terminology, we will choose the translators most suited to your project. If it is necessary and if we do not already have them, we will establish term glossaries. Sometimes, we will need your collaboration for this purpose, in order to ensure the clarity and homogeneity of the text.

Proofreading

Before delivering the translation to you, a proofreader or even the project manager will check the work rigorously. We will inspect whether the source text has been translated in full into the target text. Then, we will check the elements of terminology and semantics.

06.
Editing

We will edit the text so that it is presented as closely as possible to the initial text.

07.
Delivery

The translation is then delivered to you in electronic or print format, depending on your preference.
