Notarized translations
Notarized translations are documents translated by a sworn translator (holder of an authorization issued by the Romanian Ministry of Justice) and notarized by the Notary Public.
The notarization of a translated document will:
- authenticate the signature of the sworn translator who certifies that the translated text is true and correct translation of the original document.
However, the notarization of a translated document does not:
- prove the truthfulness of statements contained in the document,
- legalize or validate the document, or
- by itself protect a person’s rights to his/her artistic creations or inventions.
- education: diplomas, certificates, student transcripts, etc.
- identity: ID card, passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate, etc.
- vehicles: registration certificate, VRD, invoice, etc.
- corporate: articles of incorporation, agreements, etc.
- notarial: power of attorney, affidavit, etc.
- court documents: citations, decisions, judgements, etc.
- others: invoices of any type, customs papers, etc.
